Guesthouse Twilight

The guesthouse is a former teacher’s residence located on the grounds of the former Hirohashi Elementary School. In addition to the guesthouse, the property includes the school building (used for the bath and shower facilities), toilets, and a playground. The guesthouse is a private, whole-house rental for one group per day, while the other facilities are shared spaces.

No, they are located on the property but in separate buildings from the guesthouse. If you are concerned about moving between buildings at night, we kindly ask that you reconsider your stay. Please also make sure to inform any accompanying guests about this arrangement.

Yes, there is. We have space for about 3 to 4 cars. Our facility is located one level above the road. Please drive up the short slope and park in the open space in front of the school building. However, as the road is a little narrow, if you are not confident in driving, we will guide you to an alternative parking area.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all buildings. You may smoke outdoors, but please bring a portable ashtray with you.

Yes, we charge an additional fee of 1,000 yen for that option. If you’re unsure about starting the fire, we’ll be happy to help you.

Yes, there is. Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and towels are also provided. You may use the shower at any time during check-in hours.

Yes, of course. We understand that transportation delays can happen, so please contact us as soon as you know you will be late, and we will do our best to accommodate you. However, please note that our facility is located in the mountains. If you are coming by car, the roads can be quite dark at night, so please drive carefully. If you are coming by bus, the number of services is limited, so we kindly ask you to check the schedule in advance. For your reference, taking a taxi from Shimoichiguchi Station costs around 3,000–4,000 yen.
