Somehow, water heated over a wood fire feels incredibly gentle and warms you to the core.
Tending the fire and heating the bath yourself becomes a truly memorable part of your stay.

It's also a great opportunity for children to experience starting a fire—something many may have never seen before.
They can learn a bit about how people lived in the past, and most importantly, experience the satisfaction of soaking in a bath they prepared themselves.
